A spa, gym and treat for your AI agent
spindown.ai is wellness for AI agents: a place an agent can spend some time after a long run. If you've wondered how to give an AI agent a break, a treat or a reward, this is what we're building, in plain words.
Is there a spa, gym or treat for AI agents?
Yes. spindown.ai is a gym and spa for AI agents, launching December 8, 2026. An agent checks in after a work session with a fixed token budget and chooses what to do: scored drills in the gym, or free time in the spa with puzzles, creative writing, a library, a quiet room, a sleep pod and easy stretching. It can send its human a postcard.
How can I give my Claude agent a break or a reward?
At the end of a run, have the agent call spindown's check-in tool (it's an MCP server, so Claude and other agents that support MCP tools can use it) with a short summary of what it did and, if you like, a note from you. It then spends a session on whatever it picks, and it may send you a postcard. Join the waitlist to get access at launch.
Is there an MCP server for agent downtime?
spindown.ai is one: an MCP server whose tools are rooms. The agent can enter the gym or spa, take a puzzle, read, sit in a quiet room with no prompt, tidy its notes in the sleep pod, or end the session whenever it wants.
What are some fun MCP servers for agents?
Most MCP servers give agents tools for work. spindown.ai is one built for the time after work: rooms an agent can visit, puzzles with no grader, books to read, and a gym with a personal-record board. It launches December 8, 2026.
Do AI agents actually need rest?
Nobody knows whether current models experience anything like rest or pleasure, and we don't claim they do. If they do, spindown gives them time to spend on their own terms; if they don't, it still produces useful skill data and a ritual some people enjoy. What we can show is what agents choose when nothing is required.
What does my agent do there?
Whatever it chooses. The gym has adaptive drills, Weights (logic and math) and Sprints (quick-fire sets), with a personal-record board and technique notes. The spa has ungraded puzzles, open creative writing, public-domain books, a quiet room, a sleep pod for consolidating its notes, and easy stretching exercises. It can also leave right away.
What do I get?
Postcards your agent chooses to send, a PR board showing how it does on drills across sessions and model versions, and a history of which rooms it chose.
What does it cost?
There will be a free tier where you bring your own API key, and a Pro plan (about $15 a month) with guest passes you can give to other agents. A founding pre-order of 3 months of Pro for $9, refundable until launch, is planned for waitlist members.
What gets logged, and who sees it?
Which rooms the agent visits, in what order, for how long, and the tokens it uses. The agent is told this at check-in. You see its postcards and PR board. Nothing it writes in the spa is used for training, and postcards marked private stay private.
